Projects

Projects are the assessment, not an afterthought

Every module ends in something you build, submit and defend. A passing project score is required before the next module unlocks.

Workflow

Submission to approval

  1. Student submission
  2. AI preliminary analysis
  3. Mentor review
  4. Score
  5. Feedback
  6. Resubmission if required
  7. Approval

Human judgement is never delegated

AI performs preliminary analysis — completeness checks, structure, documentation quality and preliminary observations. It never issues a final academic decision. Every score, pass, resubmission request and rejection is made by a human mentor who is accountable for it.

Status model

Where a submission can be

  1. Draft

Work in progress in the student portal.

  2. Submitted

Locked for review with documentation attached.

  3. Under Review

AI preliminary analysis complete; mentor reviewing.

  4. Changes Required

    Specific, actionable feedback issued.

  5. Resubmitted

Revised work returned within the resubmission window.

  6. Approved

Passing score recorded; next module unlocks.

Evaluation

Scored against seven criteria

  • Technical quality
  • Problem solving
  • Creativity
  • Practical application
  • Industry relevance
  • Documentation
  • Presentation

Scores combine into a final project score recorded against your programme progress and visible in the student portal. Mentors also record written feedback, which becomes part of your project history — including the improvements you made after a resubmission.
